How much does it cost to attend? 

Our event is free to attend and participate. All you have to worry about is getting yourself there, paying for your place to stay and your meals, and leave the rest to us! All programming is optional and designed to be enjoyed in a choose-your-own-adventure style. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to dip in and out to adventure around Marfa and surrounding areas on your own.

 

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying at the Hotel Saint George. It is centrally located and next door to the Saint George Hall where many of our events will take place. It is not required that you stay at Hotel Saint George, there are many other options in and around Marfa. If you decide to Airbnb, make sure to look at the map before booking to ensure you are not too far from town. 

 

Who is invited?

Everyone. We are an all inclusive community. 

 

How do I get to Marfa?

El Paso is the closest commercial airport, but requires renting a car or carpooling to get to Marfa. Many attendees are planning a road trip a few days before the event to get there. Grab your friends, pack your bags, and road trip to us! (If you’re coming from L.A. check the thread on our Facebook page for others looking for a co-pilot!)

 

Vendor FAQ

What is the Cherry Shop?

The Cherry Shop is hosted by Cherry Cult during Cherry On Top Marfa, an annual pop-up community gathering in the desert. The Cherry Shop is a market inside the open air Saint George Hall in Marfa, Texas. This year's Shop will be held on Saturday August 18 from 11am-3pm.

How do I apply to be a vendor?

You can send emails to cherryontopmarfa@gmail.com if you would like to participate in the 2018 Cherry Shop. A vendor fee does apply. 

 

Is there a dressing room?

Yes. We encourage you to hold an ID or Credit Card as collateral while the customer takes merchandise to try on.

 

Do we provide rolling racks?

No, vendors must provide their own rolling racks and any other displays needed.

 

Can I decorate my booth?

Yes, we encourage you to set up your booth to reflect your brand.

 

Can I bring signage?

Yes, it’s strongly encouraged and is the best way to let anyone who comes by your booth know who you are. You will have to provide any materials for setting up your signage.

 

Is there a central cash wrap or does each store handle it’s own sales?

Each vendor handles their own sales, cash, bagging, etc.

 

Do customers pay with cash or card?

We encourage that vendors be able to accept both, but it is up to the vendor as to what form of payment they want to accept. You are responsible for collecting payment.

 

Vendor Fees are Non-Refundable.
